Chinese brands rapidly expanded their export volume in Peru, with 16% to 17% of imported vehicles originating from China in the first four months of 2026. Leveraging high cost-performance ratios and diversified product matrix, Chinese brands quickly penetrated the Peruvian market, becoming the fastest-growing import source.

秘鲁市场2025年轻型车销量达18.7万辆,2026年前4个月已超8.2万辆。中国品牌通过融资方案和售后服务促销降低购车门槛,提升家庭消费能力,推动市场持续扩张。

Peru’s light vehicle sales reached 187,000 units in 2025, with over 82,000 units sold in the first four months of 2026. Chinese brands reduced purchasing barriers through financing solutions and after-sales service promotions, enhancing household purchasing power and driving sustained market expansion.

中国品牌应针对南美市场差异化需求制定策略。秘鲁新能源车占比仅5%,远低于哥伦比亚的40%,需加强充电基础设施布局和消费者教育,挖掘电动化市场潜力。

Chinese brands should develop strategies tailored to differentiation 

needs of South American markets. New energy vehicles account for only 5% in Peru, far below Colombia’s 40%, requiring enhanced charging infrastructure deployment and consumer education to unlock electrification market potential.
