Job Description
As a member of the Hong Kong operations team, you will be responsible for creator operations, local content ecosystem development, and campaign execution across Hong Kong and the broader HMT content ecosystem. You will identify and onboard local creators, maintain long-term creator relationships, plan creator-facing activities, and support localized content and community initiatives that resonate with local users.
This role is ideal for someone who is familiar with Hong Kong’s social media landscape, has hands-on experience in creator or influencer operations, and understands how to work with creators to drive content output, community engagement, and user growth.
Key Responsibilities
Discover, onboard, and maintain relationships with local creators in Hong Kong and the broader HMT content ecosystem, including creators in ACG, lifestyle, entertainment, gaming, campus, and other youth culture-related verticals.
Build and manage a local creator database, track creator performance, communication status, collaboration opportunities, and campaign participation.
Plan and execute creator campaigns, community activities, offline meetups, campus activities, creator sharing sessions, and other local initiatives to improve creator engagement and content supply.
Work closely with creators to support content planning, activity participation, platform education, and ongoing content output on Bilibili.
Gain deep insights into Hong Kong and HMT social media ecosystems, trending topics, creator communities, local youth culture, and user behavior, and translate these insights into actionable operation plans.
Support localization work, including Traditional Chinese copywriting, campaign materials, community communication, and content adaptation to ensure alignment with local user preferences.
Monitor campaign performance and creator operation metrics, including creator onboarding, activation, content output, participation rate, engagement, and user feedback.
Coordinate with overseas cross-functional teams, including product, community, marketing, legal, and content safety teams, to ensure smooth execution of local operations projects.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in Communications, Marketing, Media, Cultural Studies, Language, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in creator operations, influencer marketing, community operations, content operations, entertainment marketing, or social media operations.
Strong understanding of the HMT creator ecosystem and the broader HMT content ecosystem, including local influencers, ACG communities, campus communities, lifestyle creators, entertainment creators, and youth culture communities.
Hands-on experience in creator communication, creator onboarding, campaign execution, event planning, or influencer collaboration is highly preferred.
Familiar with mainstream social media and content platforms in Hong Kong and HMT markets, such as Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Threads, Facebook, LIHKG, and local community channels.
Strong fluency in Cantonese and Traditional Chinese is required. Proficiency in Mandarin and English is preferred for cross-team communication.
Strong copywriting and communication skills, with the ability to write localized Traditional Chinese content that feels natural to Hong Kong users.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and execution-driven, with the ability to manage multiple creators, campaigns, and timelines at the same time.
Passionate about content communities, creator culture, ACG, youth entertainment, and digital culture.
Existing creator resources or connections with Hong Kong or HMT creator communities are a strong plus.
