Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone (APSEZ), India’s largest integrated transport utility that is part of the globally diversified Adani Group, has won a decade-long marine services contract for Argentina’s first liquefied natural gas (LNG) export, marking its entry into South America and expanding its international marine services footprint.

该合同由APSEZ的下属子公司阿达尼港口国际自由区公司（Adani Harbour International FZCO）与阿根廷Meridian集团组成的联合体中标。此次中标是由南方能源公司（Southern Energy S.A.，简称SESA）在全球范围内进行的公开招标。此次中标被认为将增强这家亚洲公司在国际能源物流价值链中的地位。

The contract has been awarded to APSEZ’s step-down subsidiary,Adani Harbour International FZCO, through a consortium with Argentina-based Meridian Group, following a global competitive tender process conducted by Southern Energy S.A. (SESA). This award is perceived to strengthen the Asian firm’s presence across international energy logistics value chains.

APSEZ-Meridian联合体将提供端到端的海上服务，包括LNG运输船的拖船作业、海上物流和供应支持以及人员接送服务，并由四艘高规格拖船、一艘锚作拖轮供应船（AHTS）和一艘人员运输船提供支持。

The APSEZ-Meridian consortium will provide end-to-end marine services, including tugboat operations for LNG carriers, offshore logistics and supply support, and crew transfer services, supported by four high-specification tugboats, one anchor handling tug supply (AHTS) vessel, and one crew boat.

该合同将通过Meridian Transportes Marítimos执行，该公司是Adani Harbour International FZCO和Meridian Group的合资企业，双方持股比例为51:49。Southern Energy的浮式液化天然气（FLNG）项目由SESA开发，SESA是Golar LNG和Pan American Energy (PAE)的合资企业。

The contract will be executed through Meridian Transportes Marítimos, the 51:49 joint venture between Adani Harbour International FZCO and Meridian Group. Southern Energy’s FLNG project is being developed by SESA, a joint venture between Golar LNG and Pan American Energy (PAE).

该项目位于阿根廷内格罗河省的圣马蒂亚斯湾，将使用FLNG Hilli Episeyo号对来自General San Martin管道的天然气进行液化，预计将于2027年9月开始商业运营。

Located in the San Matías Gulf in Argentina’s Río Negro province, the project will liquefy natural gas from the General San Martin pipeline aboard the FLNGHilli Episeyo, with commercial operations expected to begin in September 2027.

The project is expected to produce 2.45 million tons of LNG annually in its first phase, equivalent to approximately 28 cargoes per year, making it Argentina’s first operational LNG export project, while the country is emerging as a major new LNG supplier.

南方能源浮式液化天然气（FLNG）项目已达成协议，自2027年起每年向印度出口高达1000万吨LNG，预计将在连接这一不断增长的供应基地与全球需求中心方面发挥重要作用。

With agreements in place to support exports of up to 10 million tonnes annually to India from 2027, the Southern Energy FLNG project is expected to play an important role in connecting this growing supply base to global demand centers.

南方能源公司（SESA）致力于打造阿根廷首个大型LNG出口项目，该项目包含两座浮式LNG接收站，总产能约为600万吨/年。除首座FLNG接收站Hilli Episeyo外，第二座FLNG接收站MK II也将于2028年底投产，新增产能350万吨/年。

SESAis dedicated to breathing life into Argentina’s first large-scale LNG export venture, comprising two floating LNG terminals with a combined capacity of about 6 mtpa. Aside from the first FLNG, Hilli Episeyo, there is also the second, MK II, which will add 3.5 mtpa from late 2028.
